Seattle is the very much like a small town trapped ina big city. While not a thriving metropolis like NYC or Chicago, it is still not without charm. First, even the people who are millionaires dress like the people who aren't. It's very casual here all the time. So you never feel out of place. Second, coffee anyone? We have the best coffee in the USA! Third, Seattle is clean and very green. Don't even think about tossing that coke can in the trash. You will find a recycling container on every corner. And Fourth, we have Geeks! So many geeks that a girl can lose her mind over the possibiblities!
Denver appeals to all sorts of people, and offers some of the best Tex-Mex food around. Within such close proximity to the mountains, us Coloradens love the outdoors. Denver itself offers the largest theater centrum in the surrounding states, so us outdorrsy ones also get a bit of culture.
Denver sounds so amazing! Although not being much a skier, I would still like to visit. Thanks for letting us know that there are other things to do there that have nothing whatsoever to do with snow. But honestly, you had me at Tex Mex food!
It's funny, everyone thinks that Seattle has this great concert scene because of the whole grunge thing, but it's really not that spectacular. People often drive to Portland, Oregon to see shows because the music scene there is amazing.
San Francisco is also quite green and progressive. Our politics are as liberal it gets. We almost had a green party mayor! We're always ready to protest pollution or injustice. The coffee is also fabulous, as are the kick ass farmer's markets full of local, organic food. We also have quite a creative flair with our street fairs full of glamorous costumes. The shopping is great, full of local boutiques and we won't allow Walmart in the city! Plus we're one of the gay capitals of the US, what more could you want?
